When living in Corpus I would attend the World Series of Jazz in San Antonio during the late 70's. Kenny Davern and Bob Wilber were the intro before the "battle" between the Fountain and Cullum bands. Apex Blues brings back the memories. Are there CD's of those shows?

You don't have any firm hold on th quality of your presentanton. While presenting it as live, you are in serious question when it comes to a live feed. Take Austin city Limits as an example.

My compliments on the recording quality of Chasin' The Blues! The horns have great tone - a real natural sound, as if we are in the room with you. Great choice of songs too. Topsy Chapman really nails it on her features! We now have four of your CDs and will be purchasing more. See you next time we get to San Antone...we had a ball last time we came to the Landing!
9/17/2006 6:10:33 PM: New CD Chasin the Blues (by Jim Marold)
Sounds great. Can't wait until I get my copy so I can cruise down the road listening. I played the Fireworks CD when I had three 25 year olds in the car and the boy loved it. The two girls were not impressed but that their opinion. You need to have movement in your bones to listen to Happy Jazz.
