Frisco SyncopatorsThe  Frisco Syncopators were formed by Chris Tyle and Hal Smith  from some of the best traditional jazz musicians in the  land, to play hot jazz reminiscent of the groups led by Bob  Scobey in the 1950s. Soprano saxophonist George Probert, who  earned a worldwide following from his recordings with Bob  Scobey, Kid Ory and the Firehouse Five Plus Two, adds his  special flavor to a stomping session beautifully recorded by Mike Cogan. And when will you ever hear a richer sound of a  tuba than here with Bill Carroll, who played all those many  years with the Turk Murphy Jazz Band! These are especially  entertaining performances of stomping jazz.
