Jim Cullum Jazz Band
Tis the Season to Be Jammin''
Jim Cullum Jazz Band Home Page
Jim Cullum Jazz BandOver sixteen years ago, Jim Cullum and his band came to Pheonix to record the original portion of this CD, which was then offered on a 33-1/3 vinyl stereo album and cassette. Times change, and with the compact disc, we were able to extend recording times, hence this twenty plus minute, five song  addendum - with which I am extremely pleased. - Barker Hickox -  producer

from a Christmas visit to San Antonio many years ago! So happy that I can replace a very worn tape and share it with friends this season! Best to Jim and the band, Happy Holidays

11/14/2005 10:13:59 PM: A Christmas Tradition (by Craig in CA)
This cassette has been a Christmas staple for my family for over 15 years. Every year we worry that the cassette tape will eventually wear out. I am thrilled that it is now available on CD. I know what I am getting for stocking stuffers this year!
11/10/2005 2:42:15 PM: Ave Maria (by Doyle Beilstein)
This piece starts off and goes completely through as originally written by Schubert and then picks up tempo at a very irreverant pace that is absolutely breathtakingly awesome. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it and I have requested it be played at my wake!
